Creating and Distributing E-Courses

E-courses are excellent sales tools and a great way to get your knowledge out there. It is very simple to create your course and either sell, or give it away as a “give-before-you-get” sales technique. If your course is designed to be a freebie, you’ll want to give a portion of good information; but don’t tell them everything or they’ll have no reason to make a purchase. If you are selling your course, make sure to jam pack it with everything you know, that way your customer will feel like they are getting a lot for their money (depending on how much you really know.)

E-courses are simple to create because there is no need for fancy formatting, heading tags or conversions. E-courses are made in the same fashion as E-zines; by using plain text. For a sample of my 7 Day Mini Course, send an email to: minicourse@aweber.com. You will receive the first portion of the course in just a few minutes, and then for the next 7 days you will get an email with a new section attached. *AOL USERS BEWARE: The only complaints I have ever received about the course not being delivered were from AOL members.

Here’s a quick check list for creating your course:

? Pick your topic of expertise.

? Divide your material into specific sections. These topics will be your lessons. I advise starting out with a day-by-day course rather than splitting your material into weeks.

? Write an introduction to the course and a list describing upcoming lessons.

? If this is a free course: make sure to weave subtle hints throughout about all of the information that they are not receiving to give them incentive to purchase something (anything!)

? Once you have written your course, set up an account with a sequential auto-responder company. Every company will have different instructions for set up, but basically you will be cutting and pasting and they will deliver the e-mails/lessons at the appropriate time.

? Promote and advertise your course on your website, and send out a notice to your distribution list: let people know about it any way you can.

Interior Design For Bargain Hunters

Interior design for bargain hunters is the new fashionable item in the arena of interior design. Everyone is interested these days in making their money stretch as far as it possibly can. There are many, many possible ways to achieve this. The most important determining factor in your success is the amount of patience and time you are willing to invest in order to find and purchase true items of value and not frivolous purchases which are of significantly less value that you will regret later.

The places you will find most traditional bargain hunters looking for pieces related to interior design are places such as second hand furniture stores, seconds depots, and discount stores. If you shop around in these stores, you are likely to run across great purchases for interior design for bargain hunters. These purchases might include items such as furniture, linens, accessories, and the like. You can even occasionally find bargains on household electronics such as wide screen televisions and stereo systems. Be sure when buying items such as these that they are in useable condition and the fact that they are broken is not the reason they are for sale so cheap.

Another potential place to purchase items for interior design for bargain hunters would be homemade sales such as yard sales, flea markets, auctions, and estate sales. These places are no longer areas where you will find the occasional bargain hunter and enormous amounts of obsolete, valuable items that no one will find but you. Rather, these places have been commercialized as being places to find great deals and even the most common shopper has his or her eyes open for that ‘dream’ deal. This being said, these places are still great resources for the bargain hunter who is looking to buy well-conditioned, useable items for a better cost then one would find in a department store.

An aspect of interior design for bargain hunters that many people do not ever even consider is the labor involved with creating the designs. This can include services such as painting, moving, carpet cleaning, ect. Labor prices are the end of interior design that often are the most costly (with the exception of furniture and flooring). Bargain hunting for labor is a bit different then bargain hunting for actual physical items. You might think that perhaps you can afford to hire someone for less actual dollars an hour that possess perhaps less skill then another more expensive worker. This is a tricky aspect of interior design for bargain hunters.

Keep in mind that many times workers who have more experience or are better skilled at a certain task will complete the work at a faster pace then the unskilled worker, thus actually evening out the hourly price, and also there is not as much of a possibility of costly mistakes. So, honestly, depending on the skill level of the worker involved, you might be better off with the more expensive yet more efficient laborer.

Whatever the market or product you are searching for, be a smart, price-savvy comparison shopper and exercise control over spending amounts. Establishing pre-set spending amounts is a form of self-discipline and should be exercised throughout the interior design process. Bargain hunting for interior design can be as simple as taking this principle to heart and applying it to all of your decorating activities.

Finally, hard work and attention to detail can enormously decrease project costs so if you have the time and the understanding to see an aspect of the designing through yourself, this alone can turn a large budgeted project into a small one. After all, that elbow grease is worth a little something!

Want To Get In Shape? Watch Another Infomercial!

You know I have always wondered how people of yesteryear, like Eugene sandow, John Grimek, Steve reeves, Jack Lalanne, Joe Louis, Charle Atlas, and many others that i could mention could possibly get into such fantastic shape without all these gadgets, gizmos, and late night exercise machines being touted all over your favorite TV stations.

I mean let’s look at what is happening here! You have got Ab dolly, Ab rocker, Ab lounge, Abwheel, Ab-this-Ab-that, and I am not saying that they may not give some results but let’s face it if any one of these was a “cure all” why do they have to keep coming out with more??????? And why do people keep buying the latest and greatest thing? Well i will tell you?

SALES AND MARKETING! These infomercials have it down to a science. You will notice all the hard bodies that promote all these gadgets and here you are back home watching from your tv saying that if I buy this i can look like him/her and this will solve all my problems right? Wrong!!! First of all how do you know the people that you are looking at on tv actually got all their results from the product that there promoting? You Don’t.

But psycologically, your saying to yourself, this is the one, this is what finally is going to do it for me. This is what i have been missing out on. They hit all your “Emotional Triggers” and “Hot Buttons”. And you make the purchase and and lo and behold you are no better off then where you started from.

I will give you an example: (6 pack abs). Before they came out with all this inform ation about what to do and not to do regarding situps and crunches, leg raises, etc. people were just doing normal sit-ups on a board, or having somebody hold there feet down, not maybe knowing that maybe they are putting stress on their lower back? A lot of the old time athletes had tremendous ab development and strength. How do you figure that? How could that be? How is this possible? I mean god forbid if i told you some deep breathing exercises could give you some nice ab development. And you didn’t need to invest any of your hard earned money on useless gadgets and gizmos.

Well getting (6 pack abs) is more a “diet” thing then any exercise that you could possibly think of. You can do 1,000s of any exercise you want, and it will strengthen the abdominals.

BUT? If you want to see those “ABS” you have to get rid of the layers of “fat” that are covering them. END OF STORY!!!!!!! And that has to be done for the most part through proper dieting and calorie manipulation. I don’t care what contraption you buy it won’t help if your diet isn’t right.

Getting Back To Basics: In my opinion a “Boxer” is one of the best conditioned atletes out there. Especially if you look back at the old timers going (15-3min rounds). And going back to John L. Sullivan days maybe more than that. Think about the monetary investment? A jump rope $10? no money, run in place. Start throwing your hands out like you are sparring, keep moving around, side to side, back and forth, go down to the floor do some sit-ups. some leg raises, jumping jacks, jog around the block, sprint from telephone pole-telephone pole. How much money have you invested?

How did they do this? a Jump rope, combat boots for running, some calisthenics, and a makeshift heavy bag. What no hi-tech equipment? No fancy gadgets? And these guys were in great shape? No way!!!! Oh yes they were, and you can too.

The point of all this is before you spend your money on all the things outside yourself, “think” how did people before me get into tip top shape, you already have what you need. The latest and greatest fad is not going to do it for you.

I have a set of stairs about 12 of them from the first to second floor of my house, I make it a point to run up walk down about 20 sets everyday. I challenge you to do this and then tell me you need to go out and buy a treadmill, gazeelle, cross-trainer, or whatever else you can think of? No set of stairs? Go down to a local football field and run up and down bleachers, you will get my point.

Look I am not against new technology, I am just more into common sense and “GETTING BACK TO BASICS”

Who else wants to get in shape fast!? I need your advice! “FREE REPORT” by visiting: http://AskYourFitnessQuestion.com

Blogging Your Way To Success Part 2

(Continued from Blogging Your Way To Success Part 1)

By now, you have already configured your blog name, description, personal profile, and the page template. As soon as you set up your blogging account with Blogger, you will need to do this next:

Post At Least 20 Articles
=====================
While this may sound like hard work, there is no short cut around it. This, you have to do. It is mandatory. Why?

Before you start whining, let me remind you that you are in business. If you are serious enough about making your money then this should not bother you much. Now, the reason I ask of you to post at least 20 articles is because you need to have a REAL website to be in the game of Internet Business.

In the later part of this series, you will find out why this is important for setting up your AdSense account.

Anyway, post at least 20 articles. I recommend you post 25 or 30 articles to start with. Your articles need not be long. At least 200-500 words would do. Post them all in a day, if possible.

Be sure that your articles are relevant to your topic or niche. For example, if you are authoring a blog on Internet Marketing so let all your articles be related to Internet Marketing.

If 20 articles sound very hectic for you, you can source for other people’s articles from article submission web sites such as www.ezinearticles.com and www.articlecity.com as long as they have reprint rights and you include the authors byline. This can give you a good start but be sure not to keep using other people’s articles too often as this can damage your own reputation in a long run. Very soon, you will need to write your own articles. This is your blog.

Keep A Daily Archive
=====================
If you would browse your Blogger settings, you will want to set your archive to “archive daily”. So now, you have at least 20 articles which mean 20 posts. And since you have set “archive daily”, you have at least 20 pages of REAL content now.

Awesome!

Get A Feedback Form
===================
This is the next important thing to do on the list. You want people give you their feedbacks, comments, suggestions and also constructive criticism. This involves more technical knowledge. If you are not familiar with scripting, I have two great sources where you can get the scripts for free and does not require a lot of technical knowledge.

http://www.freedback.com
http://www.bignosebird.com

Set up the forms on your blog for your visitor’s convenience. You want to know what they think of your web site and at the same time, find out what their demands are so you can cater to them accordingly.

In the next part of the series, we will get you an account with AdSense.

(To be continued in Blogging Your Way To Success Part 3)

The Most Powerful Attribute in Antiques and Collectibles

What can increase your sales volume and make you more productive day in and day out? You’ve probably heard this three word statement that seperates those who wish they could do better, from those who really do.

Knowledge is power!

This three word statement is more than just a great philosophy. The more knowledge you have about antiques, the higher the increase in your overall profitability…as long as you use that knowledge. Knowledge can literally make or break your antique business.

Here’s a difficult lesson that was taught to a high-minded museum by a shrewd, savvy antique buyer with knowledge.

I love this story! It vividly illustrates the difference between knowing and being in the dark about antiques and their value. I was browing in an antique shop a number of years ago, when I struck up a conversation with the owner. We talked about incredible finds that we had stumbled across over the years. Her story topped anything that I had ever done…hands down!

It all started when she attended the last day of a weekend sale at a local museum. It seems that the museum was desiring to remodel, and they were attempting to raise needed funds by selling off some antiques that had been found in the carriage barn that stood on the property. Obviously, she was not expecting to see anything spectacular because she assumed that the sale would be “cherry-picked”.

And then it happened!

While walking through the sale, she discovered a large painting with a faded gold frame. Something about the painting looked strangely familiar, and she thought to herself, “I’ve seen that in a history book somewhere.”

She quickly ran to her vehicle and poured over several large painting identification books that she had brought with her from her personal library. After taking 10 minutes to research, she was almost positive that this painting was a rare item indeed. She went back inside, and with a few minutes left in the sale, she wrote a personal check for $125. and loaded it into her station wagon.

Life took a sudden and drastic turn…for the better!

Upon arriving home, she began to dig deeper with her research tools. She “burned the midnight oil”, and as morning broke, her heart was beating faster as she came to the realization that this painting was something very special.

The next morning, after more phone calls and cross-checking, she gingerly loaded the painting and took it to a temperature controlled vault in the same city where she urchased it. This $125. painting later sold for several million dollars at a major auction house, and this woman’s financial future was changed in dramatic fashion literally overnight.

The museum curator was appalled, overwhelmed and completely flabbergasted!

Imagine that you are the curator of this museum, and you placed the $125. price tag on this million dollar painting! This tag sale had been held to raise money for projects around the museum. If the curator had only possessed the knowledge to even “check it out”, the outcome could have been far more positive for the establishment that he represented!

Knowledge and research made all the difference.

Aside from the curator, think of all the antique dealers, collectors and enthusiasts that had toured this weekend-long tag sale. Here was an item that could change their entire lives financially, and they walked right on by. any one of them could have sold the painting, banked the money, and just “fiddled” around with antiques instead of trying to make a living from them. And the difference was knowledge!

How to get antique knowledge.

With the advent of the Internet, research is easier to do, and the knowledge is much easier to come by. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of sites that are dedicated to various collectibles, art and antiques.

Visiting the library all day, once a month can be one of the best ways to increase your knowledge of antique items. The library is still one of the most untapped resources for gaining expertise on a variety of antique subjects. Talk to the librarian, ask questions, and dig! The human mind is like a sponge, and someday you may need what you are learning today.

A methodical approach toward research and gaining knowledge can pay huge dividends in your antique world. It’s the secret that can make a huge impact in the buying decisions that you make!

10 Ways To Make Money With eBooks

Ask any internet marketing “guru” and they will tell you the same thing:

“Sooner or later you will have to have your own product to sell.”

The fact is, the easiest product to make and sell is an ebook.

Even if all you do is sell affiliate products, at some point you’ll need to write your own ebook, such as “How to Make Money as an Affiliate”.

However, the purpose of this article is not to show you how or why to write an ebook. If that is what you want then read Jim Edward’s ebook “How to Write and Publish Your Own Ebook? in as Little as 7 Days”

The purpose of this article is to teach you how to make money once that ebook is written.

Here are 10 tips for making money with ebooks:

  • Allow newsletter publishers or web site owners in your niche market to print excerpts from your ebook with your byline included. Just be careful with this, you don’t want to give away so much information that customers don’t feel they need to buy your ebook.
  • Increase profits by selling monthly updates of your ebook, or the “never released” chapters of your e-book.
  • Purchase reprint rights to other people’s ebooks and combine them with yours in a large package deal or as a bonus for buying your ebook.
  • Change the benefits on your ebook ad copy into links. When people click on the link it will take them right to the order page. It’ll give them an urge to buy your ebook.
  • Offer freebies that are related to the ebook your selling. It could be free monthly ebook updates, free newsletter, free consulting, free software etc.
  • Show your prospects a sample page out of your ebook. Just black out some of the important info. This will make your prospects curious to buy.
  • Offer the reprint rights to your ebook. You can sell the rights with the regular purchase price or as a separate higher price.
  • Make your ebook available in other mediums. For example, you could turn it into a video or audio ebook, etc. There is plenty of easy to use software out the market that can do this.
  • Redesign your ebook for specific niches. You can create multiple ebooks with very little work. For example, turn a business ebook into a craft business ebook. Or, turn a Job Interview Tips ebook into several ebooks geared to specific job markets.
  • Give your prospects discount coupons on other products when they purchase your ebook. Discounts could be for your products or others that you made deals with. Remember, ebooks are a great way to start earning money online. However, once your ebook and web site are created, you still need to find ways to increase your sales.

Online Credit Report and Online Credit Reports

Online credit reports are easily accessible to those interested in viewing them. If you have wondered about what kind of credit score you have, you can go on the Internet and look at your online credit report. Most people are concerned that they have good credit and a solid standing with where they are financially. This is an important factor because it pretty much makes or breaks someone’s ability to get a loan for something they may need later on down the road. Your online credit report is an encompassing reality of who you are as a spender-it can show literally every part of your financial history to date.

Those days of frivolous spending are not forgotten your credit card debt is still visible to the credit bureaus as much today as it was in the past, especially if you are still paying back what you owe. Those “had to have it” items that are now collecting dust or in someone else’s possession are still being paid for years later by you. Is that how you want to live? To be remembered by the credit bureaus as someone not worthy of loaning money to because of their online credit report? Think about it, do all you can now to keep your record cling, especially when you need to view those online credit reports and rate your own abilities.

Say you have a desire to purchase a new home. You don’t have the money for the mortgage, so you consider going to the bank to get a loan. One of the first things the bank will do is determine whether or not you have good credit. They can determine this by checking into your online credit report and seeing if your credit report is flawless or marred because of bad credit. The choices you made in the past do have an effect on the way your future plays out. If you didn’t do so well with what was entrusted to you, what makes you think someone is going to want to take a chance by lending you money you don’t seem to be responsible with? Though your ways may have changed, your online credit report may indicate otherwise. Don’t let your online credit report get marred-begin doing all you can today to protect your name and the online credit reports you want to reflect goodness.

If you want to buy a car, the dealership too will look at your online credit reports. They will use your online credit report to see if you are a valuable asset to loan money to or just another risk. It is hard for people to lend money, especially when there isn’t a solid credit history. These online credit reports get heavily weighed when it comes to forking over the funds for a new car. If you have concerns about your online credit report and what the dealership may discover, talk to the people in personnel who handle these cases. You can inform them of the reasons your online credit report looks the way it does. Ask them if there are ways in which you can better scores on your online credit reports and how you would go about addressing that. Good luck with your online credit report and remember be wise in the way you spend money. Honor the Lord will all He has entrusted you with, and keep your online credit reports looking sharp!

A Lesson In Email: The Money Is In The List… With The Back-End Sales

Firstly, back-end sales is eMail Marketing at its best, so for this to work you need to already have a list of customers that have bought from you before.

The reason for this is because Back-end sales, are the ultimate way to realize the true ‘life-time value’ of your customers/list. Once someone buys from you, and if their experience with your product is good, then you will have no problems selling to them again and again.

Back end sales will equate to about 75-85% of your overall income. This is how important and powerful this marketing method really is.

But first, to accommodate you if you are totally new to this whole internet marketing thing.

A back-end sale is simply a sale you make from a customer who has purchased from you in the past. Meaning, lets say a first time buyer orders your new ebook. You find a way to collect their email address (through your newsletter, or have them fill out a form during the order process) so you can eMail them promos in the future. Now every time that same customer buys something from your eMail promotions– –that is a back-end sale, and more profits in your pocket.

As Netrepreneurs, we all know that to acquire our FIRST TIME customers is where the majority of our marketing budget goes. We have to some how direct them to our website, persuade them to sign-up for our mailings and entice them with our sales copy to purchase one of our products.

With all this time, money and energy being spent drawing these first time customers to our website and sales copy it’s no wonder why you cannot over look the power of following up and back-end sales–if you want to make substantial profits.

You see when a prospect finally makes the conscious decision to buy from you, then you have succeeded in:

    1) Establishing your Credibility to that person

    2) Building a mutually beneficial relationship with him/her.

    3) (obviously) Closing the FIRST sale.

Now after the first sale, IF your product or service:

1–Comes with SUPERB customer service (from you)

2–Lives up to your promises and their expectations

    3–Is of exceptional quality

    4–Offers them great value

    Then…

This is the time to take ADVANTAGE of this relationship and offer this person more value.

Now since they have bought from you in the past and enjoyed the product–selling to them again and again will be so much easier than acquiring a totally new FIRST TIME customers.

The reason for this, is because your customer base will already trust you and feel bonded with you on some level.

So if you want to really succeed online you MUST focus on your current customer base. Like I said earlier, they will make up the bulk of your profits (75-85%).

    How do you do this?

Well for starters you can simply offer them another product, related to their first purchase, at a “Valued Customer” discount.

Try doing this for your attempted second sale from them..anythng for them to purchase from you again. And if that products lives up to The first one:

1–Comes with SUPERB customer service (from you)

2–Lives up to your promises and their expectations

    3–Is of exceptional quality

    4–Offers them great value

This will make the subsequent sales much, much easier to close..because you have:

    1) Overcome the obstacles of the first sale.

    2) Reinforced your Value to the customer with another excellent product.

Now…on to offers. Another important segment of back-end sales is.. well, What are you going to sell them? (after you run out of your own products?)

Well after you sold them your featured product, your discounted product, your new product and so forth.

Where do you get more products to continue to capitalize on your customer’s “life time value”?

If you don’t want to go into the whole expenditure of developing another product: Time, Money, Research, Headaches, etc.

Just join an affiliate program. This is what I like to refer to as being the ‘ultimate back-end.’

YOU WILL NEVER RUN OUT OF PRODUCTS. Only thing is, make sure the affiliate products are of the same great quality as yours. Also, make sure they are somehow related. If you need help finding affiliate programs to join and promote as back-end product, contact me and I will give you some valuable recommendations for hot new products and services out there.

I truly hope you found this writing enjoyable and informative.

    Remember:

You spend all your time and money on getting that first sale. Once you have overcome this, you have that person’s trust–so they will be much more open to your recommendations.

Realize this. And then Profit from your customer’s “Life Time Value” through your powerful back-end products.

Thanks again for reading. I hope you see now that Back-End Sales are the way to go for financial independence from your eBiz.

    To your Success,

    Anthony L. Davenport

Defeating the Drug Smugglers in Ultra Fast Boats, Skimmer Craft and Hydrofoils

The drug smugglers have ultra fast boats, skimmer craft and hydrofoils, which makes it difficult to give pursuit by conventional marine craft. The problem is getting worse as drug smugglers ratchet up the game stakes using ultra fast water craft, submarines and aircraft. They have the money to buy the best of everything, radar, sonar, communication, weapons, etc. to insure that their drugs get thru as the payoffs are quite high since the street value of these illegal drugs are in high demand and command a huge price point.

    http://wildcat.arizona.edu/papers/94/14/01_91_m.html

Last year was a record year due to the new net-centric and information sharing between FBI, DEA, Border Patrol, ATF and US Coast Guard working with tips from street level local law enforcement and state police.

    http://www.news.navy.mil/view_gallery.asp?category_id=54

One of the biggest obstacles is hydrofoil skimmer craft, which look like real boats on the surface but raise up on hydrofoil feet and can attain and maintain extremely high speeds. They cannot out run aircraft but their range is generally quite a bit greater and they have radar-jamming equipment, guns and are often difficult to apprehend.

There are ways to sink such hydrofoils, which out run many of the coast guards present fleet. The USCG is investing heavily in Aircraft, UAVs, Underwater Unmanned Vehicles, Satellite Communications Systems and Net-Centric Warfare style systems. Currently the game is almost won. But when it comes the Drug War there is a lot at stake and Billionaire renegades who do not take losing lightly. They have huge piles of cash, lots of balls, creative minds and know that they can buy off over 1/3 of people working on the enforcement side. They pay big bucks to their drug runners, do not have problems getting rid of lose ends and generally seem to get an adrenaline rush out of their illegal and deadly profession. They can hire the best security people, combat special force veterans from many different countries who hire themselves out as Soldiers of Fortune to the highest bidder and for the Drug Lords, well they are not exactly short on cash. Delivering drugs between Hurricanes, during Presidential Debates when all eyes and security is busy. Sounds like Miami Vice, TV show? Well, it gets even crazier and bizarre as they introduce hydrofoil water craft on the scene capable of our running anything on the water and then simply slowing down and blending in with all the other multi-million dollar yachts.

There is now a way to use underwater devices, special torpedoes dropped from aircraft well ahead of the drug runners without them knowing, which will not only intercept them, but sink them in second, not minutes, with no explosions, just instantly making them disappear as if lost in the Devil’s Triangle.

This new concept device can be dropped from any of the United States coast Guards current aircraft equipment. It is a torpedo device with compressed methane, CO2, Hydrogen, Natural Gas, Oxygen that lands in the water and is controlled by satellite guidance system SGS, using the latest GPS technology or by LOS Line of Sight communication, or NLOS ? Non-line of Sight RF. The torpedo is dropped out of the aircraft to loiter near the path of the approaching craft, as the craft approaches it maneuvers itself into the direct track and trajectory of the target. The craft then remains about 20-40 feet below the surface of the water and as the craft approaches lets all the compressed gas escape at once. The Target then falls into open space created by the gas trying to get to the surface and falls like going off a water fall as the gas escapes to the surface creating the cavity. The target will tumble and be a total loss. The sea will immediately close in behind it swallowing up the vessel. Done deal.

The Torpedo shaped carrier devices then films the sunken vessel remains underwater and floats back to the surface, where an ELT ?Emergency locator Transmitter signals the United States Coast Guard of discharge after the escaping gas is depleted. The carrier devices also gives away it’s location automatically by a GeoSat, which is looking for anomalies on the ocean surface such as gas, surface temperature, changes ocean height or temperature. The carrier device now empty floats and awaits pick-up for reloading and next assignment, so it is not wasted. The carrier device has handles on it, which any survivors, although not likely, can grab onto and wait to be apprehended as soon as the carrier device is ready for retrieval in a few days or when ever?

There is no way to escape this strategy, except to do what the RAF pilots were told to do in their Spitfires in WWII, never fly straight and level for more than 30 seconds. If the operator of the hydro skimmer is constantly changing it’s course, trajectory and vectoring, then that will show up on satellite and radar and it will then be a known drug target or threat of some kind. Since only someone with something to hide would exhibit such behavior.
