How to Save on Airfare
The Internet has provided a revolution in the way people shop for airfares. What used to be the province only of connected travel agents is now the province of every Internet connected traveler. Recent studies have shown that online airfare shoppers visit more than three sites on average to shop for airfares.
What many of these online shoppers fail to realize is that simply comparing prices on different websites is not necessarily the best way to find reduced rates.
There are many tricks to finding lower rates that go beyond finding the right Internet sites.
First, all air travel should be booked more than thirty days in advance if possible. There are ways to get great last minute deals, but overall, the best way to get good deals on air travel is to purchase in advance.
Another way to get reduced airfares is to book all your trips during down seasons. The end of summer is a perfect example of a down season when. When possible, always book a trip during down times, regardless of when the trip occurs. Many people fail to realize that the price of a trip can be related to when it was purchased, not just how far in advance, but what the seasonal prices were at the time of purchase.
Many airfare shoppers are now using the Internet where various airlines rates and times are compared and contrasted. What they aren’t aware of is that these rates do not always represent the lowest rates an airline provides. Currently, the best way to assure the lowest price is to call the airlines and ask them directly. Many times they will have deals that are only available to those who call in. Also, it is worthwhile to call just after midnight, as any specials for the day that have not sold out could still be available.
Generally speaking, prices in the middle of the week will be cheaper than prices at the end of the week, so trips from Wednesday to Wednesday are ideal.
When considering different airports, many people fail to take into account smaller airports serviced by players such as Southwest Airlines. Southwest flies into many ports that sound off the beaten path, but are in fact within close driving distances of major destination. For example, Southwest does not fly into Boston Logan or JFK, but they fly to Providence, RI, Manchester, NH and Long Island. Many times these airlines can get you nearly as close for a lot less money.
Finally, careful analysis of rewards systems and travel patterns will be the ultimate determining factor in whether an individual airline deserves your loyal patronage, or whether rate shopping makes most sense for you.

Stretch the arms around the head on the ground and raise the arms along with the chest upwards after taking a deep breath, while balancing on the buttocks at the same time.
Now, let both the arms lie horizontally to the ground with fingers pointing towards the knees. The body in this position looks like a floating boat.
Breathe normally in this position and return to Shavasana position slowly after 10 to 30 seconds. Perform Naukasana at least 8 to 10 times per session.
Benefits:
It helps strengthen the muscles of the abdomen, neck and shoulder. It also relieves constipation.
Caution:
Severe backache and hip joint disorders are contra-indication for this asana.
3) Kapalbhati:
This is one of the best abdominal exercises for removing abdominal fat.
How to do it.:
Sit comfortably in a cross-legged position.Breathe normally for about a minute. Once composed, you can begin.
First, Exercise the diaphragm by exhaling suddenly and quickly through both nostrils, producing a “puffing” sound. Don’t focus on inhalation. It will be automatic and passive.
The air is exhaled completely from the lungs with a sudden, vigorous stroke while simultaneously drawing inwards the abdominal muscles.
The breath should be expelled fully. Inhaling is automatic – the abdominal muscles will relax automatically.
This abdominal exercise should be done in three rounds, each consisting of 10 strokes (for the beginner). Each round should take about a minute.
A little rest can be taken in between the rounds as convenient. Throughout the exercise, the chest should be kept still without expansion or contraction. Only the diaphragm is used for breathing and not the upper chest.
Over a month, the number of strokes per minute can be gradually increased from 10 to about 30.
Benefits:
Clears toxins from your body and lungs.Tones the abdominal muscles and burns fat.
Practising the above mentioned yogic exercises regularly will take 10 minutes of your time daily, but they have a profound, long-term effect on your overall health and fitness.
Abdominal flab lost in this manner doesn’t return easily and you remain happy and young for a long long time. Hence it’s definitely a smarter way to look sexy and stay healthy.

A Review of Popular Sunless Tanning Products
When the weather starts to warm up and the days get longer, we are all drawn outdoors to enjoy the sun. Many will recall seemingly endless hours outdoors, soaking up the sun’s rays without a care.
Unfortunately, sunbathing isn’t as carefree an activity as it used to be. These days, there’s more to worry about, such as premature aging, scarring and blemishes, or even skin cancer. With so many options for sunless tanning, finding the best sunless tanning products and methods can be confusing.
In terms of coverage, consistency of color, and follow up care of the tan, spray booth tanning is a good bet. Though it can be costly, and the convenience of home application is lost, many people report high levels of satisfaction from spray tanning. Fantasy Tan and Mist-On Tan are two popular systems. Costs will vary by region and depending on the facility.
Other products touted among the best sunless tanning are Bain de Soleil Tinted Self Tanner Foam (medium) for its quality of color and duration of the tan, and Bain de Soleil Faces Tinted Self Tanning Crème for its ease and smoothness of application and duration of the tan. Though considered high in cost, these are quality cosmetics, according to some.
Coppertone Sunless Tanner Spray (dark) is popular, because it is a spray, and it is applied in the home. No need for a salon visit. This product is appreciated for the quality of the tan, the ease of application (the spray mechanism doesn’t clog,) and how long the resulting tan lasts.
Sunless tanning is a large and growing industry, with advances being made regularly in blend and technology. There are products for every budget and lifestyle. The best sunless tanning is UV free, convenient, and looks great! Best of all, no one has to know where that beautiful tan came from!

You, Marketing-Minded Financial Planner, Can Be an Author
After you’ve gotten in the groove of turning out articles and notes to reporters about your topic, take it to the next step: Write and self-publish a book about your topics.
Does this seem intimidating, or even impossible (not to mention expensive). Believe me, it isn’t. I know, because I did it.
You can write the entire thing in a word processor, and a publisher will turn it into a book. It’s not hard, and is less expensive than you might think.
A reputable self-publisher will create a book with a professional-looking cover and an ISBN number so you can sell it on sites like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It’s not likely to become a best-seller, but you might generate a little bit of revenue.
Besides, the point of the book isn’t to top the New York Times charts. Instead, you can use it to grow your financial planning practice through marketing and publicity.
Being an author gives you automatic credibility with the media, most of whom would kill to have the time to write a book. You can even use the event of the book’s launch to line up some local TV or radio interviews.
Give the book to everyone, including the media. Send it to your best clients and your best sources for referrals. Sell it for a cheap rate, if you can, when you give speeches to community or business groups. It’s a powerful tool to build your reputation and get your name in front of prospects.

Types Of Laptop Batteries
Throughout the years there have been many technologies involved with notebooks, and laptop batteries are no different. There are actually three distinct notebook battery types on the market today. Knowing the difference between them will help you decide on exactly what to get when the time comes for a purchase.
In this article I will discuss the three different laptop battery types, as well as some of the advantages each one carries.
Nickel Cadmium ? NiCd batteries were actually the first rechargeable laptop batteries ever. Manufactures loved them because their cost was relatively low and they had a high output. You won’t find Nickel Cadmium batteries being used anymore, due to them being heavier and not as efficient as the newer laptop batteries.
Nickel Metal Hydride ? NiMH batteries can still be found all over the place — particularly for older model laptops. The rechargeable NiMH laptop battery was a big step up for notebook technology mostly in part because they were more reliable than the NiCd batteries, and they had an even higher output. The NiMH battery was also cheaper to produce, and safer to use.
The only issue with NiMH batteries is that they can have a memory effect. Basically, if you don’t fully discharge the battery, it can remember this and leave you with a less than perfect battery output.
Lithium Ion ? LiON batteries are now used in most new laptops. Unlike the NiMH battery, LiON laptop batteries have no memory effect. LiON batteries are also lighter than both NiCd and NiMH notebook batteries. Both of these advantages equal out to the Lithium Ion battery being the most popular and most expensive among the various notebook power sources.
You are probably wondering which type of battery to get. Getting a Lithium Ion battery would be the best solution, and if you have the money that is what I recommend. If you cannot afford a LiON battery or your notebook is not compatible with one, then getting a NiMH battery is the next best thing.

5 Keys to Mental Toughness for Junior Golfers
If you have any interest in seeing first hand the impact that mental toughness has on sport performance, go no further than the PGA or LPGA Qualifying tournaments or “Q-School”. Each year for the past several years, I have worked with players on site during this event. A great many of the conversations that the players have are a rehashing of their performance this past year on the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide, or mini-tour circuits. What I have heard frequently are things that could help the junior golfer get a head start in his or her career.
In attempting to describe why they hadn’t reached their outcome goals for the season I hear these professional players repeatedly talk to one another about “trying too hard”, “not letting it happen out there”, “playing tentative” and many other frequently used mental game phrases. The challenge for many of these professionals is not only to sharpen their swings and putting strokes for this critical week, but to sharpen their mental games as well. The players who do well in Q-School are the ones that will follow some basic rules about the mental game. Each of these also has application for the junior golfer:
1. Keep each shot in perspective. This is especially true in a 108-hole tournament. Q-School, of all tournaments, is understood to be a marathon and not a sprint. There is no rational reason to be unnerved by a bad hole or two. Similarly, the junior golfer has years and years of opportunities ahead. There is no particular shot in any tournament that is “life or death”.
2. Focus on the task rather than the outcome. This is probably the most difficult of the “basics” for players to follow. It is natural to think about the result and then the consequences of the result. This thinking will not help get the job done. Whenever these thoughts come to mind, replace them with thoughts of the immediate task at hand.
3. Breathe. Even the best in the world get tense in this type of situation. That tension can increase a player’s tendency to hold his breath in anticipation of a shot or a putt. This then impacts muscle tension even more, and potentially affects his ability to swing the club smoothly. Deep breaths = slower heart rate and less physiological tension. Creating a habit of doing this as a junior player will be invaluable as your golf career progresses.
4. Remember that you cannot control things. Anyone who plays this game knows that something unexpected happens in nearly every round. A great tee shot lands in a divot, a club you’ve been hitting well all week suddenly starts getting shaky, or a two-foot putt is missed. The successful players in Q-School and elsewhere will recognize that they have control only over their preparation and reactions, and not over anything else. If they know they’ve prepared the best they could for each shot, and know that they are capable of controlling their reaction after each shot, they’ve done all they can possibly do to achieve their goals. Move on to the next one.
5. Play to succeed. Nearly every year there is a player or two held up at the end of Q-School as an example of a late tournament collapse. In nearly all of those instances, the player interviewed will speak of having thoughts of “trying to hold on” or “trying not to make a big number”. Many players will have a tendency to play to avoid mistakes and/or prevent something bad from happening. The players who are successful are those who are confident in their abilities to go out and get the job done, and will be playing to succeed rather than to avert failure.
These mental game essentials will help you as a junior player ingrain habits that can help you reach the ultimate golf goals for which you strive!
